Raid Recovery, for the first time in the industry, combines intuitive, fully guided user interface with sophisticated data recovery technologies and unprecedented level of automation, allowing first-time users to repair failed RAID arrays and recover data easily and reliably. The completely automated operation offered by makes the tool fully usable at home and in the office.
In order to operate Raid Recovery, the user does not have to know anything about RAID arrays or data recovery. The tool automatically determines the exact type and configuration of the RAID being recovered, with or without the original RAID controller installed in the system. Raid Recovery can recover all types of hardware, software, and native (motherboard-controlled) RAID arrays, including RAID 0, 1, 5, 0+1, and JBOD (span). Native RAID support includes controllers built into motherboards manufactured with Intel, NVIDIA, and VIA chip sets. Software RAID and Microsoft Dynamic Disks are also supported.
Raid Recovery can recover RAID arrays even without the original RAID controller present, making it possible to repaired failed RAID arrays created on a specific chip set or with a specific hardware controller even if the motherboard or controller are broken or unavailable. Raid Recovery automatically detects the exact type and brand of a RAID controller used to create the array being recovered.
Raid Recovery is full of high-tech features and technologies, including company's signature PowerSearch and LivePreview algorithms. PowerSearch allows users of Raid Recovery to recover over 150 types of files such as Office documents, compressed archives, email, pictures and multimedia files, even if the file system is unavailable or certain disks are missing from the array. The technology operates by scanning the entire disk surface in order to locate the beginning and end of each recoverable document. LivePreview allows customers to evaluate Raid Recovery before they purchase by displaying full live previews of recoverable files such as digital pictures and office documents.
